Furthermore, by utilizing Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) battery technology, this allows for longer run times, greater storage capacity, greater system flexibility, and a fully environmentally friendly solution. Battery life is directly proportional to the depth of discharge of the battery, and with LiFePO4 technology, we are able to obtain greater depth of discharge than Lead Acid, GEL, or AGM technologies.

Experience has also shown that if the battery is either visible on a pole, or in the ground, then it is prone to theft/vandalism, we therefore offer a unique system with the battery incorporated either into the light head, or hidden within the solar panel.

Its internal components are secure through IP65 protection, and external components are marine-grade aluminium and stainless steel. All fixtures are subject to a 168 hour salt spray test to support their marine durability. This Hydro turbine was developed to produce a maximum amount of electrical power with the kinetic energy of flowing waters. Because it is powered by kinetic energy instead of potential energy, it is known as a so-called “zero-head” or “in-stream” turbine. As such, no dams and/or head differential are necessary for the operation of this device; the course of a river remains in its natural state and no high investments in infrastructure are required. Because the amount of kinetic energy (velocity) varies from river to river, a greater amount of energy is generated with a higher velocity of water flow. This 5 kW underwater generator permanent-magnet generator provides three-phase AC power. Debris protection through stainless steel cables which are carefully designed such that debris neither accumulates nor damages the blades, and the Rotor has slightly curved blades to improve performance against debris.
